Ajay's residence
The design directive was crystal clear: craft a residence that emanates a sense of spaciousness while maximizing the infusion of natural light. To achieve this, we employed a nuanced color palette, with wood taking center stage as the primary element. This choice not only imbued warmth and character into the space but also served to amplify its perceived openness.
In our pursuit of sustainability and heritage preservation, we embarked on a unique sourcing journey. The wood adorning the interiors was meticulously reclaimed from ancient Chettinadu houses, each piece boasting a legacy spanning over a century. By repurposing this venerable material, we ensured that no new trees were felled in the creation of our designs, thereby honoring both the environment and the rich cultural heritage of the region.
To further enliven the space, splashes of color were introduced through carefully selected upholstery and captivating artwork. These elements not only added visual interest but also imparted a sense of individuality and personality to the home, reflecting the unique tastes and preferences of its inhabitants.
Step into this sanctuary of sustainable luxury, where every detail tells a story of heritage, craftsmanship, and conscious design. Experience the harmony of tradition and modernity as you immerse yourself in a space that resonates with both history and innovation
